Fall Fashion

Christina and I were invited to the Label Fashion show as part of Toronto Fashion Week. We were delighted to go and of course see the clothes which were fabulous, but also all the wonderful outfits, especially shoes, that the audience were wearing! We also donated 300 mini 3x4"ecojot notebooks that were part of the goody bags. Hope they land up in some very creative hands.

Earth Hour

Tomorrow from 8.30 to 9.30pm, turn off your light and sit by candlelight with your pen and journal in hand. Take this time for yourself and in this hour write down your day's experiences, your reactions and your reflections of what it is to be without light (for only 1 hour!)

"Go beyond the hour". The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is asking people to switch off for more than an hour this year. WWF also requests its fans to observe a minute to pray for those who lost loved ones and those who died in the Japanese calamity.

Although I should be designing i seem to be doing everything else in between ! But, Yes i am in design mode from now until the stationery show in May in NY. Took some fun shots of our "deliciously new and proving very popular" notecard packs! I redesigned a whole new range for January and we had this lovely box custom made to house them. I am now busy on the next set of 12 new ones, so look our for those.

Tulips

Vivid stripes of color make up these glorious scenes. This is the Northern Netherlands in the middle of Tulip Season. The dutch landscape in May is a kaleidescope of color as the Tulips burst into life. The bulbs are planted in late October and early November. Great inspiration for paintings, weavings. wallpaper, mosaics and quilting!
